The Academy of Arts and Knowledge has strong curriculum that allows our students to excel in more ways than one. One of the things we take a lot of pride in are our after-school programs. Providing our students with a variety of extracurricular activities is our way of helping them develop skills they’ve already shown an interest in, find a new hobby, or simply partake in a fun activity with friends after school. After School Dance Club
Does your child have a knack for dance? Are they looking to develop the skill beyond what they have developed on their own? The after-school dance club at TPAAK is perfect for them! This program is open for people with all levels of dance experience while focusing on helping participants learn the basics of dance. Our after school dance club is a great way to help your child better understand dance while developing their skills alongside their fellow students. This could easily serve as their gateway into the world of dance! Everyone starts somewhere, and our after-school dance club is a fun way to develop a new skill. Any student who is currently enrolled at The Academy of Arts and Knowledge is eligible to enroll.
Private Music Lessons
The Academy of Arts and Knowledge puts a lot of emphasis on creative pursuits in our curriculum, and this continues with our after-school and extracurricular programs. Private music lessons are perfect for those students that are looking to develop their skills on a particular instrument, while learning in a smaller and more intimate educational environment. We offer both private and group lessons for brass, woodwinds, strings, percussion, piano and voice. Featuring instructors who studied at the Berklee College of Music, your child will have the privilege of studying with true professionals. If your child is exhibiting an interest in getting into playing an instrument, starting them with private music lessons as the Academy of Arts and Knowledge is a great way to test the waters and see if this is something that they may want to continue doing.
